A WORD ABOUT THE PASTOR

God has truely blessed and honored us by sending a wonderful young woman to serve as our Interim Pastor. We would like to take this opportunity to introduce Rev. Phoebe Kitson-Davis.

Interim Pastor Phoebe Kitson- Davis is an ordained Presbyterian (USA) pastor. She is a member of Donegal Presbytery and a graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary. Rev. Kitson has served churches in Bronxville New York, West Chester Pennsylvania and Paoli Pennsylvania.  She has taught at the Westtown School in Westtown Pennsylvania and served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Niger, West Africa.

Serving as Parkesburg’s Interim Pastor since February 2008 she is charged with guiding the congregation through the interim period between the departure of the former pastor Rev. Richard Graugh and the pastor who will be called to serve the church next. Her duties include leading worship on a regular basis, teaching and providing pastoral care for the congregation.

In addition to her church responsibilities Rev Kitson teaches swimming at the Kennett Area YMCA, is a member of the West Chester Rotary Club and a strong supporter of the Chester County Fund for Women and Girls.
